This church was established under the leadership of Pastor Jack Dupree in July 1983. Since its beginning, it has been a place of faith, love, and compassion, where caring teachers and leaders help guide God's people in learning God’s Word. We believe in the power and presence of the Holy Ghost to lead, comfort, and strengthen every believer. Through the Holy Ghost, lives are transformed, hearts are renewed, and we are empowered to walk in God’s will each day. We believe in the Holy Trinity—God the Father, Jesus, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit—three in one. This truth guides our faith and reminds us of God’s complete and perfect presence in every part of our lives. We believe that salvation is found through our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Through His love, grace, and sacrifice, we are forgiven, redeemed, and given the gift of eternal life. Pastor Roy Smith has been faithfully shepherding the flock for the past 17 years. His leadership, dedication, and heart for the people continue to guide and strengthen this church community in faith and unity.

Our Pastor Roy Smith Is a dedicated Servant leader who is passionate about sharing God's Word, leading and guiding others to grow in Christ. Saved by the blood of th Lamb, Baptized in the Holy Ghost, with a heart full of love for people. He provides thoughtful teaching, compassionate care,and strong spiritual leadership to our church family. Pastor Roy Smith has been serving as Tabernacle of Praise's faithful Pastor for the past 17 years. Heis committed to building a welcoming community and church family whre everyone can grow,connct and experience the love of Jesus Christ and the Glory of God.
Abby, our pastor's wife is a truely loving and anointed woman of God, whose life reflects strength, faith and devotion. Through her gift of playing the piano and singing, she ministers to the Lord in spontaneous worship that invites the presence of heaven and blesses the entire congregation. Her heart for God is evident in every note and every prayer she lifts up. Abby stands as a pillar of support within the ministry, faithfully praying for others and walking alongside Pastor with wisdom and love. Her gentle spirit and unwavring faith continue to inspire and uplift all who are part of the church family.

Praise and Worship Team
Our Praise and Worship team, Judah, carries a powerful anointing that can be felt from the very beginning of each service. They are not just singers and musicians, but vessels led by the Holy Spirit, flowing in spontaneous worship that invites God's presence in a real and tangible way. Each time they minister, their is a unique atomospher because they follow the leading of the Holy Spirit rather than a set routine. Their worship is not about performance, but about creating a place where hearts can connect with God.
Judah beautifully blends modern contemporary Christian music with classic gospel hymns, reaching across generations and touching every heart in the room. This variety allows people of all ages to engage, whether they are drawn to newer worship songs or the timeless truths found in older hymns. The congregation is encouraged to sing along, uniting everyone in unity, in one mind and one accord.

The Men of Fire service gathers monthly as a powerful time of anointed worship and spiritual renewal. Each service is marked by fresh revelation from the Word of God, Speaking directly into the lives of the congregation and strengthening their walk in faith. Hearts are ignited as the prsence of God moves, setting a holy fire that inspires boldness, purpose, and deeper devotion. Through prayer, worship and the preached Word of God, we are sharpened and aligned with God's truth and calling. This service not only transforms individuals but helps bring unity and spiritual aligment to the entire congregation.
